Competition students

At Platinum Dance Company, we invite all students to come and be a part of our competition team.

We do not have a selection process for our competition groups, however we ask that students only join if they are committed to both the practices and competitions, have a strong work ethic, can take constructive criticism and work well as part of a team.

All competition students must be able to attend the 2 competitions we have scheduled. We compete in the first half of the year and have one competition in Geraldton and one in Perth. 

​

Students wanting to be involved in competitions must be enrolled in the general classes in the styles they wish to compete in as well as the competition group class for their age group. The competition group class is discounted at $90 per child per term. Attendance in the competition class is compulsory, multiple absences may result in the student not having spots in routines or being dismissed.

Students also have the opportunity to compete in solos and duos/trios. Please speak to Miss Emily if you would like to do solos and arrange private lessons, this is open to everyone. Please note duos/trios are by selection only and cannot be requested.
